COMPANY HISTORY:

Mr. J. Kemp following 25 years service in H.M. Forces and Local Government formed Quadrant Security Services (Land & Marine) in 1977. The company traded for a number of years in the South Essex area providing a guarding and patrol service.

In 1984 Mr. E. Kemp joined the company following 10 years Local government service.

Quadrant Security Services (Land & Marine) Limited was incorporated in March 1985. The service base of the company was expanded to include Key holder/Callout services and the area of operation was increased to include the whole of Essex and East London.

1986 saw the implementation of a computerised guard/patrol management system, enabling the close scrutiny of guarding and patrol duties, ensuring increased quality of service. At the time Quadrant was one of the first small companies to embrace what was then new technology and the system although much upgraded continues to provide a valuable insight into guarding and patrol activities.

The company responded to demand by forming a security systems section in 1987, which has since gained experience in all forms of Intruder Alarm Systems, Access Control and Closed Circuit Television.

During 1988, a 2 4-hour lock replacement / key cutting service was introduced to back up existing services in response to customer demand.

1995 saw the opening of a new control room facility, which has streamlined the flow of communications throughout the company, increasing the quality of service to the customer and improving the health and safety of employees.

Remote CCTV monitoring facilities were introduced in 1998 enabling us to provide a total security package to our clients providing cost effective solutions to most security problems or requirements.

The aim for the future is to provide a total security package throughout our area of operation catering for all private, industrial and commercial needs and to retain as far as possible the personal service that has been our hallmark.
